What Now San Diego recently uncovered plans for a new concept by Vincenzo Loverso and company at the site of the former Carruth Cellars Wine Garden in Little Italy. Moving along with another solid location acquisition, San Diego Dining Group is preparing to introduce a concept called The Heights in Little Italy.
New permit filings with the city and California Department of Alcoholic Beverage Control sets the latest concept at the site of the now-closed Cafe Gratitude.
The vegan cafe shut its doors in San Diego back in January, leaving its other locations open in Newport Beach and Los Angeles. Now The Heights will move into the 4,000-square-foot site at the base of the Broadstone building in Little Italy.
San Diego Dining Group partners Vincenzo Loverso, Alberto Mestre, Marco Provino, and Antonino Cusimano are also behind the newly opened restaurant Truffle in North Park, plus concepts like Inpasta and Giardino in Lemon Grove, as well as brunch spot Breakfast and Bubbles, and Zama in the Gaslamp.
