Main Squeeze Juice Co. is adding a storefront in Houston Heights. The newest addition to the franchise will be located at 1541 N. Shepherd Dr. in Houston, according to a recent project filing.

Owner Jeff Drost told What Now Houston that he hopes to open by April of 2023 depending on permitting and equipment delivery. Drost has three other Main Squeeze Juice Co. locations in operation—Cypress, Pearland, and Webster. He’s planning to open five additional locations in the future for a total of nine including two more in Cypress and others in Spring and the Memorial and Galleria areas of Houston.

Main Squeeze Juice Co. offers fresh cold-pressed juice, plant-based smoothies, acai and pitaya bowls, and a variety of toasts. “It’s an all-natural, gluten-free, non-GMO, vegan company, so we source everything from super reputable, super clean and healthy companies,” Drost said. “You can order anything on our menu and know that we’ve done our absolute best to give you a super clean, healthy product.”

Toasts include avocado, Almond Butter Berry, and Peanut Butter Banana. “We’re constantly working on our menu trying to add new, vegan options like breakfast-style options and grab-and-go-type stuff, so we are evolving as a brand for sure.”

Drost said he wasn’t much of a healthy eater before getting involved with the franchise. “Our recipes across the board—juice, smoothies, bowls, everything—it really is an easy way for people to start eating healthier options,” he said. Drost added that every ingredient in their juices from ginger and cinnamon to spinach and beets serves a nutritional purpose. “It tastes really good.”
