H Mart, the growing Korean mega-store and food court, will soon be opening a significant establishment at 7501 W. Colonial Drive in Orlando, according to recent reporting in The Orlando Business Journal.
“On July 19, a photo of a new ‘Coming soon’ sign on the property was posted to popular Facebook group Orlando Asian Foodies,” The Business Journal reported.
“Additionally, a Construction Journal posting on July 18 revealed construction is expected to start in September on the grocery store going into the former Target at Westland Terrace Plaza near Ocoee. The posting also included an estimated project cost of $7 million and several opportunities appear to be available to bid on for contractors and subcontractors.”
While no details are yet available regarding the upcoming food court’s lineup, readers can reasonably model expectations off H Mart’s other locations which feature a variety of Korean cuisine fast casual outposts such as Oh-K Dog, So Gong Dong Tofu House, Momo Sushi, Paik’s Noodle, and others.
No opening date has yet been announced.
