Venchi announced its plans to grow its footprint in the US, partnering with Simon Properties and Westfield shopping centers. Leading the way in its proposed expansion plan for 2023 is San Diego’s Westfield UTC mall, where Venchi is set to place one of its six new US chocolate and gelato boutiques.
With 175 locations globally, the Italian-based brand currently operates seven US storefronts in New York, New Jersey, and Virginia. Its flagship New York City boutique is known for its chocolate waterfall, an eye-catching feature that’s like something out of Willy Wonka’s Chocolate Factory. Included in its new growth plans are locations at Westfield malls in New Jersey and the Bay Area.
“Venchi is excited to continue its US expansion, sharing our concept of creating an Italian Allegria experience for customers through premium-quality chocolate and gelato products. We are delighted with how our customers have responded across the communities we now serve,” shares Venchi Chief Commercial Officer, Mark Ellis, in a press release.
Its ChocoGelaterias sell an iconic lineup of products featured on its Chocolate Bar Wall like the best-selling Chocoviar, Cremini, and hazelnut Gianduiotti. Venchi also scoops up its signature gelato and Gelatoshakes, Italian-style coffees, and crepes filled with Venchi’s proprietary recipe of hazelnut chocolate spread dispensed from an impressive chocolate fountain.
