Popular burger chain Five Guys will soon build up a Leander outpost at the intersection of US-183 Hwy & Hero Way, according to recent public records.

Records examined by What Now Austin state that the project will consist of “tenant improvement in existing single-story, multi-tenant building – existing parking is unchanged. Interior tenant improvement is in an existing lease space.” The $525,000 project is anticipated to wrap up in mid-2024.

Founded in 1986, Five Guys has over a thousand locations across the United States, boasting its largest footprints in California, Florida and New York, according to the official Five Guys website. The chain features a classic American fast-food menu such as hot dogs, fries, milkshakes, customizable burgers, and their signature free peanuts.

The only available public statement regarding the location’s status is “Our Sebastian location is slated to open in December!” on the official website. No other details have been announced.

Until the new Sebastian Five Guys opens its doors, readers can readily find the popular burger chain throughout central Florida — and most of the United States.
