Located on the southeast corner of the intersection between West Craig Road and North Tenaya Way, Craig Marketplace is the future home of Casa Real, a new restaurant serving Mexican cuisine. According to paperwork submitted recently to the Las Vegas Planning Commission, Casa Real has signed a lease to open in the retail center, which is located at 7121 W Craig Road.
The space in question, Suite #101, was previously occupied by a pizza restaurant. A justification letter submitted with the paperwork says the space will require little in terms of renovation, and that most work will be décor-related, to give the space its Mexican theme.
Casa Real plans to offer full sit-down service, as well as takeout service, along with alcoholic beverages.
Opening in Craig Marketplace, Casa Real will join a food and drink roster that includes eateries like The Burger Den and Joey’s Tavern. Most of the plaza’s other food spots are fast-casual chain locations, including Starbucks, Popeyes Lousiana Kitchen, and Jack in the Box.
What Now reached out on Wednesday to owner Manuel Haro to ask about plans for Casa Real. Haro was not immediately available for comment.
