According to a recent news release, the private membership-based dining experience Nashville City Club will relocate from its original location at 201 4th Ave N. to the Liggett building at 200 2nd Ave S. by the end of summer.
Ownership of the club is comprised of a board of directors, which includes developer Tony Giarratana, Nashville City Club managing director Chris Weinberg, president of LogicForce Phillip Hampton, executive vice president and head of commercial banking for local Fifth Third Bank Kevin Lavender, and Nashville businessman Stephen Richards.
“We are thrilled to embark on this exciting journey of relocating to the Liggett building,” Weinberg stated in the release. “Our goal is to create an elevated environment that not only caters to our existing members’ desires for luxury and exclusivity but also provides a warm and inviting space for new and potential members. We cannot wait to unveil this extraordinary transformation.”
The downtown establishment strives to provide an exclusive and luxurious gathering space for business professionals and has operated for over 65 years. According to its website, its purpose is to “develop a vibrant community within the Club as well as within the city of Nashville where personal lifestyles can be actively upgraded through experiencing the diverse and passionate flavors of the Club’s membership culture.”
The website also states that the Club consists of a members’ bar, a grille section with TVs, and a dining room. The Club also offers several private event spaces for private dining and meetings. The full kitchen, catering, and grand ballroom space at the new location is slated to reopen by winter 2023.
