Rosenberg will become home to a new Urban Air Adventure Park. A representative from Urban Air’s public relations team told What Now Houston in an email that the franchisees don’t have a planned opening date or a specific address for the Rosenberg park, yet.
Urban Air Adventure Park is the largest indoor adventure park operator in the world and part of the youth enrichment growth-focused platform Unleashed Brands. Urban Air offers more than 20 different attractions such as ropes courses, Urban Air’s Sky Rider, Battle Beams, dodgeball courts, obstacle courses, and more. Every park also offers a state-of-the-art, fast-casual cafe.
The Rosenberg Urban Air is part of a franchise agreement with Haydee and Federico Carvallo and Oscar Acosta, who currently operate franchise locations in Miami, Florida. The group is based in Houston. They also plan to open three more locations in Florida.
Originally from Venezuela, Haydee Carvallo discovered Urban Air at a children’s birthday party and knew she wanted to get involved. She presented the idea to her husband Federico, who became her business partner. A few years later, they asked Acosta to join them.
“Our Urban Air parks have exceeded our expectations, making it an easy decision to continue to expand within the company,” said co-owner Federico Carvallo in a press release. “We have created a community for our employees and customers, both internally and externally, and are excited for those to continue.”
