Entrepreneur Jalal Kapadia is bringing Houston its first Atomic Wings to be located at 11200 Northwest Fwy.
Atomic Wings was founded in 1989 by Adam Lippin. His pursuit for finding a perfect wing brought the creation of his own after many years of perfecting the craft of wing making. It first began in New York City before branching out from there. The menu “serves antibiotic and hormone free, all-natural wings, in over 14 proprietary sauces,” according to the website.
Kapadia saw an opportunity with Atomic Wings to become another franchise owner as he also is a multi-unit operator of Hartz Chicken along with his barbeque restaurant. “The product is great! The business model is great! I was looking for a franchise to be a part of and grow with. It has had explosive growth in the past few years, and I liked where the leadership is taking the brand,” he said about Atomic Wings. He has plans for upwards of twenty locations to open in Houston within the next five years.
Currently, each of Kapadia’s businesses are operated under their own LLC. He is developing a managing company, however, that will soon be the main hub called Acuity Ops LLC that will help him run his growing empire.
Houston’s first Atomic Wings will be 1595 square feet with a capacity of approximately 40 and a remodeling cost of $100,000, according to the permit on file with the city.
Plans for opening are set in August 2023.
