Black Bear Diner, a leading family dining chain, is pleased to announce the opening of one of its next locations at 4053 East Fwy, Baytown, TX 77521. This move reflects the company’s ongoing success in Texas, particularly in the Houston-metro area. CEO Anita Adams expressed optimism about the new diner, highlighting the company’s commitment to filling market gaps and expanding into new territories.

“The Baytown diner marks our ninth diner in the Houston area,” Adams told What Now Houston. It underscores the brand’s dedication to growing its presence in Houston’s thriving market. Adams stated that the success of their Texas diners, coupled with the demand for their unique dining experience, prompted the decision to build the Baytown location.

Looking ahead, Black Bear Diner plans to open approximately 15 new diners throughout their system-wide footprint in 2023. Texas remains a priority, with upcoming openings slated for San Antonio and Fort Worth. The company aims to continue expanding its presence in Houston and throughout the state, focusing on meeting the needs of both new and existing customers.

As Black Bear Diner continues its growth trajectory, they remain committed to providing updates on future openings in the Houston area and beyond. With a solid track record and a strong focus on customer satisfaction, the company aims to solidify its position as a go-to dining destination for families in Texas.

According to the permit on file, this will be a new construction estimated at $600,000 with a completion date of May 2024 warranting 4625 square feet of space.
