Toca Madera, one of Noble 33’s leading concepts, is making its way to Houston. This popular restaurant has already made its mark in Los Angeles, Scottsdale, and Las Vegas. Now, it is ready to bring its unique twist on Mexican cuisine to the fast-growing metropolitan area of Houston.

The decision to expand to Houston was a carefully thought-out one for Tosh Berman, Co-Founder & Executive Chairman of Noble 33, and his team. They were impressed by the vision of the partners at The Allen, located at 759 Gillette St, and felt that their development aligned perfectly with Toca Madera’s brand.

Berman recognizes the tremendous opportunities that Houston offers, both in terms of its vibrant restaurant landscape and the sheer size of the city. The restaurant’s philosophy is to always add any city’s already rich offerings and provide an elevated dining experience to its residents.

Toca Madera traces its roots back to Los Angeles, where it first emerged as a Mexico City-style steakhouse with a modern and inventive approach to Mexican cuisine and Tex-Mex. Berman’s own upbringing in Mexico played a significant role in shaping the brand’s ideology. He wanted to showcase the diverse range of Mexican food beyond the conventional stereotypes and introduce a broader integration of Mexican flavors and techniques into menus.

Toca Madera is expected to open its doors at The Allen around September 2023 before its sister company, Meduza Mediterrania, also opens at the new development approximately two months later.. The restaurant will boast an impressive 393 seats, providing ample space for guests to indulge in the tantalizing flavors and captivating ambiance that have made Toca Madera a favorite among food enthusiasts.
