As chicken wing megachain Wingstop races toward the 2,000-location mark (there were 1,977 locations in 46 U.S. states as of February), the brand’s growth shows no signs of stopping in Las Vegas. Permitting paperwork submitted recently to Clark County shows a Wingstop planned for 5697 S Jones Blvd #180.

The paperwork lists a value of $300,000 for the work, which includes “new walls, finishes, restrooms, mechanical equipment, and plumbing/electrical rough-ins for new equipment.”

Las Vegas is already home to 21 Wingstop locations and has demonstrated a taste for its popular streamlined menu, which features a chicken sandwich, bone-in and boneless wings, tenders, and sides like Louisiana Voodoo Fries, Buffalo Ranch Fries, and Cajun Fried Corn.

Wingstop’s chicken is served up with your choice of sauce from a selection that includes classics like Lemon Pepper, Original Hot, and Garlic Parmesan along with other favorites like Louisiana Rub, Cajun, and Hawaiian.

What Now reached out on Friday to Jorge Ortiz, CEO at Far West Services, Wingstop’s Las Vegas franchisee. Ortiz was not immediately available for comment on news of a new Wingstop at Jones Boulevard and Russell Road.
