Lao was unavailable for comment as of Wednesday. It is currently unconfirmed if this will be a relocation of Michy’s current home in Houston or an expansion with a second location.
A permit on file with the city shows the interior buildout of the space is set to begin in September 2023 with a completion in March 2024. Approximate cost for the project is set at $350,000 resulting in an estimated 3000 square feet.
