In 2020, local pub Kline’s Beer Hall was a sad casualty of pandemic restrictions affecting business. But now, the brand is getting a second chance and will be reopening at 5709 Olde Wadsworth Blvd., just a block from its old Grandview Ave. location.

City records show the business submitted a number of projects for review to the city. The project narrative states that Kline’s Beer Hall will “renovate the existing vacant commercial building into a full-service beer hall with occupancy up to 200 persons.” The space previously held The Cereal Box breakfast and yogurt concept.

The first floor will have a full-service bar and seating area, and there will be a private dining space and a rooftop for outdoor dining. Documents state that property needs a new roof deck.

Kline’s Beer Hall had to shut down “indefinitely” three years ago, after five years in business. When that happened, owner Mike Huggins told Arvada Press he had hoped to open in the same area.
