Denica’s Real Food Kitchen, a Bay Area breakfast spot known for its “homemade food served daily,” is planning to open its first outpost in Pleasanton.
According to a recent permit application, the restaurant is coming to 4503 Rosewood Drive — taking over a space formerly home to Red Robin Gourmet Burgers near Creekside Park, Hacienda Commons Apartments, and PRADA.
What Now San Francisco reached out to Founder and COO Denica Freitas, who confirmed the upcoming location, but was unable to provide additional information before publication.
Nevertheless, if the Pleasanton spot resembles the existing Denica’s Real Food Kitchen cafes in Dublin, Castro Valley, and Livermore, locals can expect a “cheery cafe with from-scratch breakfast fare, sandwiches, salads & Mexican basics, plus baked goods.”
For readers who are unfamiliar with the diner, the eatery provides a brief introduction on its website, writing, “We began in a small, 42-seat spot that is now comfortable and lived in, humble and well worn; in the morning it smells like cinnamon rolls and fresh ground coffee; all day and night it sounds like reggae island retro beats. All of our locations are unique in design.”
The business also offers catering.
