After successfully navigating through the pandemic, Sisters Pizza is getting ready to open a new location in North Park, located at 4046 30th Street.
The company’s second site is set to move into the former home of Sicilian Thing Pizza, which recently closed its doors after 14 years following the end of its lease, according to SanDiegoVille. Sisters Pizza was started by father-and-daughter duo Bill and Emily Green, along with Emily’s husband, Trevor Lake, after a family tragedy took Kate Green from the world at 36. Now, the family-owned business is getting ready to expand for the first time, opening a second location hopefully around the end of the summer.
Sisters Pizza first opened in June 2019 in the Hillcrest/ Bankers Hills area, offering a variety of signature New York City/ New Jersey-inspired pizzas that are available by the slice or as a whole. The restaurant also offers plenty of other options for food, including sandwiches, salads, appetizers, and more. To drink, Sisters Pizza offers plenty of soft drinks as well as beer and wine. For those who want to bring these pizzas back home to make later, Sisters Pizza offers all-natural, frozen, 12″ pizzas called “Freezies.”
