According to recent reporting in Orlando Weekly, a local restaurateur is soon making a comeback.
The publication reports that Pom Moongauklang, who recently closed her longtime Milk District sandwich shop and teahouse, is working on a new establishment with an unnamed partner at 67 N. Bumby Ave.
Citing Moongauklang, Weekly reports that the new establishment “will see her “put on her chef coat” and add some “molecular touches” to the dishes.” Reportedly, more details will be released next week.
Local readers may remember that Moongauklang’s last venture closed early this year.
“Pom Pom’s Teahouse & Sandwicheria is open today from 11 AM until we run out! After 17 incredible years of serving amazing sandwiches and delightful teas, we invite you to share in this bittersweet moment with us,” the brand’s last Facebook post stated.
“As we close this chapter, we kindly ask for your patience and kindness during this busy time. Your support has meant the world to us. If you feel moved to do so, please tip our amazing servers and back-of-house team who have made every experience special.”
