According to a recent beer and wine license application, a new dining concept, Boa’s, is coming to San Francisco’s Outer Richmond neighborhood.

Taking over a space at 3951 Balboa Street, the upcoming restaurant will land near eateries such as Empero Taste, Kazoku Sushi, and Al-Masri Egyptian Restaurant.

What Now San Francisco briefly spoke with co-owner, Ramsey Garcia — who is listed alongside Jonathan Varga on the filing — to inquire about the anticipated opening date and plans for the menu, but he could not provide further information before publication.

Nevertheless, with a successful eatery in The Castro already on Garcia’s roster, The Fable — a “casual spot serving modern American brunch and dinner” that he founded alongside his wife Marda Garcia — Boa’s is sure to become a popular dining destination for locals.

For readers who are unfamiliar with the eatery, The Fable is know known for gourmet, California-style sandwich and salad offerings for lunch, as well as a hearty dinner menu — including options such as grilled pork chop served with hominy and cabbage, and a grilled NY strip steak topped with horseradish.

Stay tuned for additional updates.
