Cork It, the acclaimed wine bar known for its warm atmosphere and diverse wine offerings, has announced its expansion to Texas. Founder & Owner Roland Stanley, expressed his enthusiasm about introducing Cork It to a vibrant new community at its next location, 6845 Peek Rd, Katy, TX 77493.
Having established a firm foothold in the industry with three successful locations prior, Stanley shared, “We’re excited to be expanding and bringing Cork It to Katy, Texas as our fourth location.” This expansion underscores the brand’s commitment to sharing its passion for wine and community engagement.
The decision to venture into Houston was influenced by the city’s rich culinary and cultural scene, which aligns seamlessly with Cork It’s concept. “Our inspiration for coming to Texas, and Houston in particular, was the vibrant and diverse community here. We saw a fantastic opportunity to introduce Cork It to a new audience who shares our passion for wine and community. Houston’s rich culinary and cultural scene also made it an attractive destination for our wine bar concept.”
In staying true to the essence of Cork It, while also acknowledging the unique character of the Katy community, Stanley emphasized the significance of local collaboration. The team is working closely with local artisans and wineries to incorporate their products into the menu. Aesthetically, the new location will have a splash of Katy while keeping to the ambiance that Cork It has worked to provide.
Stanley revealed that the team is exploring new services and events tailored to resonate with the local culture and preferences of Katy. These thoughtful considerations are set to make the Cork It experience in Katy as memorable as it is in its other locations.
With preparations in their final stages, Cork It is set to open its doors to the Katy, Texas community by the end of November 2023.
