A new entertainment venue and brewhouse, Pixels Arcade & Taproom, plans to debut in San Rafael next year.

“Marin County, get ready for fun in January 2024! Arcade games, pinball, a home gaming lounge – all at one low admission price,” the business announces on its website.

Taking over an existing space at 1137 4th Street, Pixels will soon neighbor establishments such as Crepevine Restaurant, Lundy’s Home Cooking, and The State Room.

“At Pixels Arcade & Taproom, our mission is to create a fun and immersive gaming experience that brings people together,” Pixels shares — adding that guests will have the opportunity to nostalgically revisit classics from the 80s, 90s, and 2000s such as Pac-Man, Galaga, and Tempest.

As far as food and beverage are concerned, Pixels states, “We feature a taproom serving alcoholic beverages for your enjoyment… while we do offer some snack items, we are not a full-service restaurant, hence we are designated as a 21+ establishment.”

Pixels Arcade & Taproom is scheduled to open on January 13, 2024.
