Fast-casual salad chain Sweetgreen is looking to open a location in the Emory Village

Sweetgreen is planning a restaurant at 1556 North Decatur Road, according to plans filed in DeKalb County. It would take over the Dragon Bowl restaurant space, which is roughly 1,800 square feet.

The company declined to provide any information about the new location. “Sweetgreen does not have a comment or more information to share at this time,” a spokesperson said in an email to What Now Atlanta.

But, Sweetgreen is currently looking for team members for the Emory Village location, according to a job posting online.

According to the plans submitted in DeKalb County, Sweetgreen intends to “enhance and refresh” the exterior of the building on North Decatur Road. One side will include a mural. The patio will also be updated.

Sweetgreen currently has five locations open in metro Atlanta, according to its website. Another location is in the works for the Lee + White project, as What Now Atlanta reported in May.

Sweetgreen’s menu includes a variety of salads, warm bowls and plates.
