B-Side, a bar that permanently closed at 204 Avenue B, is returning to the city at a new location. It has filed paperwork for 131 Avenue C.

B-Side closed in June 2023 after it was damaged by a fire. The ownership announced at that time that it was closed until further notice, with renovations expected to follow. However, it appears that the ownership has instead decided to transition to a new site.

The space was formerly home to art venue Babel NYC. The new space will have seven indoor tables that will seat 32, and it will feature one stand-up bar.

B-Side previously served beer, cider, wine and seltzers. Paperwork shows that the limited food menu will include small bites like bread and butter, Italian sweet sausage and onions on a roll, chili with chips and braised beef short ribs.

Hours are expected to be from 12 p.m. to 4 a.m. every day. As of now, it is not clear when B-Side will open at the new location.
