Atlanta-based Intown Golf Club is expanding to Columbus, according to recent reporting. The private indoor golf club will open its first ever Ohio location next spring in a 15,000 square foot space located at 6620 Mooney St in Dublin.

Intown Golf Club is a private membership golf club with locations open or coming soon to multiple cities throughout the U.S. that also features a restaurant and cocktail lounge available to its members. What Now Columbus spoke to Jonathan Baker, vice president, brand and communications with Intown Golf Club, who shared details on what members can expect from the food and beverage menu.

While the exact menu items aren’t firm and won’t be until the menu has been fully developed, Baker said the cuisine can be described as “upscale Americana that’s approachable as it is elegant.”  Likewise, the cocktail program at Intown Golf Club will be modern and mixologist-driven, while complementing the food menu, Baker said.

Intown Golf Club’s Dublin location will offer eight simulator bays, a grand dining room, a great room with a fireplace and a secondary “pocket” bar. The private golf club offers members a way to play golf, simulated on over 200 golf courses from around the world, at any time of the time of day, during any season, through integrating technology that lets members analyze their golf swing and ball tracking.

“We think most cities in America need more accessible golf options, and new ways to discover the game. And we have all the golf elements green-grass facilities have… just indoors. And within a beautiful space that puts a real emphasis on design and amenities,” Michael Williamson, co-founder and CEO of Intown Golf Club, said in a press release. “At the end of the day, we strive to be a club that prides itself on a high level of service and a unique membership community, something all the great clubs in the world have.”
