Leading fast-casual poke brand Pokeworks plans to open three new outposts in the North Bay, according to a recently signed Area Development Agreement.

Franchisee Deanne Austin, a retired systems engineer who lives in Napa, tells Restaurant News, “Pokeworks’ commitment to supporting a healthy lifestyle really struck a chord with me, aligning with my personal ideology.”

She adds, “When I learned that it’s the largest and fastest-growing brand in the poke category, I knew that it was the perfect company for my first foray into franchising.”

For readers who are unfamiliar with Pokeworks, the concept was founded in 2015 and has since expanded to more than 72 locations across the US, Taiwan, and Mexico.

The chain is known for offering patrons customizable, “Poke Your Way” options, including poke bowls, sushi, and poke burritos — with vegan and gluten-free diets considered.

Addresses and opening dates have not been announced yet, so follow Pokeworks on Facebook and Instagram for updates.
