A new Parisian-style cocktail bar, Chateau, is debuting in downtown Walnut Creek next spring.

Coming to 1376 N. Main Street — taking over the former Papyrus shop — the concept will land near eateries such as Cupcakin’ Bake Shop, Main Street Kitchen & Bar, and World Famous Hotboys Chicken.

Behind the concept is Raquel Williams of Honey + Brie — a charcuterie catering company that serves the Bay Area — who shares with the journal, “Our individual and unique skills poise Château to be a place where art, music, and elevated offerings meet under one roof in the heart of downtown Walnut Creek.”

According to Mercury News, alongside charcuterie boards, Chateau will serve cocktails, caviar, and tapas across a mezzanine bar, a champagne room, and a “European-style dining space.”

Chateau is slated to open in March. Stay tuned for updates.
