According to recent reporting, development has been progressing at 82 East Santa Clara Street, the future home to downtown San Jose’s food hall helmed by Uber co-founder, Travis Kalanick. The business has recently put up exterior signage and is currently completing final touches on the interior, The Mercury News reports.
The San Jose food hall will accommodate around 26 ghost kitchens, a dine-in restaurant that will total about 1,000 square feet, and a coffee bar next to the dining establishment, as shown in city planning documents.
The upcoming food hall will be home to a wide variety of different concepts, with a few already listed on its website, including menus for an exciting sneak peek. Customers can anticipate Indian cuisine from Sam & Curry, sushi from Monosushi, sandwiches from Y-Linh Sandwiches, Mediterranean from Cosmic Cuisine Halal, desserts from Sophia’s Sweets, global eats from Silk Road Kitchen, pasta from Forza Italia Kitchen, beverages from TeaZer, and more.
The new dining destination promises to have options for everyone with its different concepts. Its website currently states a January grand opening is in store, though a specific date is forthcoming.
Customers can stay tuned for additional announcements as the opening grows closer on its website. What Now San Francisco reached out to Kalanick for additional information but did not immediately receive a response by the time of publication.
