According to a recently submitted permit application, the Redwood City-based concept Spill the Tea plans to debut a new location in San Carlos.

Coming to 765 Old County RoadSuite B — an address formerly home to the Argentinian restaurant Sarah’s Latin Taste — the eatery will land near establishments such as Broadway Auto, Dan’s Upholstery, and Nash Design Group.

What Now San Francisco contacted Spill the Tea’s owner, Horacio Banderas, to inquire about the expansion, but he could not provide additional information before publication.

Nevertheless, should the upcoming spot be modeled after the business’s existing Redwood City location, San Carlos locals can expect a cozy and casual cafe with an international breakfast and lunch menu — think items such as breakfast sandwiches and burritos, crepes, pancakes, waffles, acai bowls, and chilaquiles — accompanied by boba teas, coffee-based beverages, and horchata.

An opening date has not been announced yet, so follow Spill the Tea on Facebook for updates.
