A new player is set to make its mark with an audacious nod to indulgence and flavor. Kahani Social Group, co-founded by Surpreet Singh, is known for its inventive dining concepts, is preparing to launch Pok Pok Po, a fried chicken eatery poised to redefine comfort food. Situated at 3201 Louisiana St., the venue aims to captivate the palates of fried chicken aficionados with its bold promise of “naughty delicious fried chicken.”
Although official details have not been released, the permit details reveal an investment of about $350,000 in renovations and alterations to transform the 3,820 square foot space, previously home to a different restaurant, into a haven for fried chicken lovers.
The concept of Pok Pok Po emerges amid a rising tide of gourmet fast-casual eateries, yet it pledges to stand out with a unique approach. Described as “that incredible fried chicken parlour you have been waiting for,” the restaurant aims to blend exceptional quality with a playful twist, all within a vibrant and inviting atmosphere. The renovation plans suggest a complete overhaul, promising a fresh and dynamic setting to enhance the dining experience.
The project is slated to begin in June 2024, with an expected completion in September 2024.
