PJ Hot Pot, a new eatery serving hot pot and Korean barbecue is coming to the Festival Centre shopping plaza in Dublin at 6100 Sawmill Rd, according to a permit filed with the city of Columbus. As detailed in the architectural plans associated with the permit, which have been viewed by What Now Columbus, the eatery will be housed in a 12,000 square foot space with seating for over 300 guests.
The work has started on the interior buildout and What Now Columbus confirmed with the eatery that the current timeline for opening is December, but that could change depending on a number of factors. As detailed on a post on the eatery’s Facebook page, the establishment will serve all you can eat hot pot and Korean barbecue, but the full menu hasn’t been revealed yet.
Originating in China, hot pot is a dish that usually consists of a soup or other entree with a hot stock base and is kept warm through a heat source on the dining table which keeps the pot of soup stock simmering. Each hot pot is typically served with a variety of ingredients such as meat, seafood, plant protein like tofu and vegetables that can be added the hot stock.
