According to a recently submitted permit application, Hercules-based concept Mazatlan Taqueria & Grill plans to debut a new outpost in Benicia.

Coming to 2126 Columbus Parkway, the restaurant will land near establishments such as the Honey Glow Beauty Bar, Mountain Mike’s Pizza, and Rose Center Shopping Mall.

What Now San Francisco reached out to the eatery’s co-owner, Mauro Cazarez, to inquire about the upcoming spot, but he could not provide additional information before publication.

Nevertheless, if the concept remains consistent, locals can expect to find a casual eatery that offers breakfast, lunch, and dinner — with menu items ranging from loaded nachos and soups to burritos and enchiladas.

An opening date has not been announced yet, so stay tuned for updates.
