According to a report by The Press Democrat, Oke Poke — “a family-owned business that started in Southern California in 2015” — is expanding to Napa.

“There isn’t a fast-casual poke spot similar to us,” the CEO of Oke Poke, Nate Olaes, tells the journal, adding, “Napa is always a very interesting area.”

Coming to 3270 California Boulevard, the eatery will land near establishments such as Foodshed Take Away, Jade Garden Chinese, and Panera Bread.

For readers who are unfamiliar with Oke Poke, the fast-casual concept offers build-your-own poke bowls with base options including rice, salad, and noodles, and proteins and toppings such as shrimp, salmon, pineapple, edamame, jalapeno, and ginger.

“I thought it was time to grow it,” Olaes shares — “We’ve stayed true to what we’ve been. We haven’t changed since 2015. We prioritize the customer experience.”

Oke Poke in Napa is slated to open in late June.
