According to a recently submitted alcohol license application, a new restaurant and axe-throwing venue, Boomtown Axe, is coming to Fremont.

Taking over a spot at 40480 Albrae Street, Boomtown will land near establishments such as California Billiards, Hungry-Cow K BBQ & Shabu House, and Walmart.

“At Boomtown Axe, gather your crew for an evening of food, drinks, and adrenaline-pumping axe throwing,” the business shares on its website.

“Our seasoned Axeperts will teach you to throw safely, so you can blow off some steam in the company of friends, coworkers, or even your next Hinge date. Then, celebrate from our selection of rotating draft beers while snacking on our delicious food.”

In addition to axe-throwing, Boomtown will boast a bar, a restaurant —that will offer menu items such as cheese and pepperoni pizza, wings, burgers, salad, fries, mozzarella sticks, and chicken tenders — and a mini golf course for individuals who do not wish to throw.

What Now San Francisco reached out to the concept’s owner, Kevin Chea, to inquire about Boomtown, but he could not provide additional information before publication.

While the venue’s website states that the location is “opening soon,” an exact date has not been announced yet. Stay tuned for updates.
