In a move set to spice up Webster’s dining scene, Bojangles is preparing to open a new location at 510 W Bay Area Blvd, thanks to Co-Franchisees Preston Cunningham and David Higgins. This latest expansion marks a significant milestone for the iconic Southern chain as it continues to spread its flavorful fried chicken and biscuits across the Houston area.
According to the permit filed for the project, the new Bojangles will involve a significant renovation of the 4,063-square-foot building that once housed Genghis Grill. With an estimated cost of $461,000, the project will see the existing fast-food restaurant undergo a transformation, giving it the distinct Bojangles flair.
Cunningham and Higgins, both experienced entrepreneurs in the franchise space, have undoubtedly made a thoughtful decision to bring the Bojangles brand to Webster. The Webster community can expect Bojangles’ signature chicken, biscuits, and famous sweet tea to become a staple as the restaurant gears up to welcome its first customers early next year.
As Bojangles continues its Texas expansion, fans in Webster and surrounding areas will soon have a convenient new spot to indulge in the chain’s beloved offerings, adding even more variety to the local dining options.
The renovation work is slated to begin in October 2024, with the project being completed by January 2025.
