Santa Cruz-based brewery Humble Sea Brewing Co. is expanding to San Francisco, according to SF Eater

Coming to Pier 39, Space N-111-1A — taking over a space formerly home to Wines of California Wine Bar — the drinkery will land near establishments such as Boudin Bakery Cafe, Crab House at Pier 39, and Nathan’s Hot Dog Cart.

“It’ll be an expansive taproom space with 80 seats and plans to partner with a yet-to-be-decided restaurant on the food component,” the journal shares.

For readers who are unfamiliar with the business, Humble Sea Brewing began in 2009 as a homebrewing project of Nick Pavlina. Not long after, Pavlina’s childhood friends Taylor West and Frank Scott Krueger joined him, ultimately founding Humble Sea Brewing Co, according to its website.

Humble Sea at Pier 39 is slated to open in July. For additional updates, follow the brewery on Facebook.
