McCall’s Meat & Fish Co. is moving from its Los Feliz site to Atwater Village, according to a recent post on the business’ Instagram. The new store is currently under renovation and is slated to open sometime this summer.
McCall’s was originally opened by Nathan McCall and his wife Karen Yoo in 2010 “with the goal to create a gourmet neighborhood market featuring the highest quality meats and fish, prepped and portioned for the at-home chef,” their website says. “We have since expanded our offerings to include farmers market produce, pastries, speciality cheeses and provisions, and other hand-picked items to stock your pantry.”
In addition to their grocery items, they also sell prepared foods and a variety of deli sandwiches.
The couple sold the gourmet grocery concept to David Sarraf during the pandemic, and are currently working on a new restaurant in Glendale called Backbone that is slated to open this August.
McCall’s also has another location in Santa Monica.
