According to a recently submitted permit application, a new concept listed as Peace Natural Vegan Food is planning to debut in Berkeley.

Coming to 1593 Solano Avenue, taking over a space currently home to Nomad Tibetan Restaurant, the eatery will land near establishments such as Barneys Gourmet Hamburgers, Cugini, and TALAVERA.

What Now San Francisco reached out to the eatery’s owners, Kelsang Gyatso and Lobsang Palden, to inquire about the upcoming restaurant, but they could not provide additional information before the time of publication.

Nevertheless, drawing from the concept’s name and the recent filing, locals can expect the menu to boast a selection of vegan options as well as beer and wine.

An opening date has not been announced yet, so stay tuned for updates.
