According to the San Francisco Business Times, SoMa sports bar BuzzWorks plans on expanding.

“In a recent public planning application, the bar owner at 365 11th St. proposes connecting BuzzWorks with a neighboring building to create a four-story structure that would include a music venue, bar, and double-decker rooftop lounge,” the Journal reports.

“The project, should it ultimately gain entitlement, would double the bar’s existing floors and boost the combined lots’ square footage from 12,000 square feet to about 20,000 square feet,” the article continues.

For readers who are unfamiliar with BuzzWorks, the concept describes itself as a “bi-level sports bar with games, pinball, bar snacks & an ambitious beer menu, plus many TV screens.”

What Now San Francisco reached out to the bar’s owner, Vlad Cood, to inquire about the expansion, but he could not provide additional information before publication.

An opening date has not been announced yet, so stay tuned for updates.
