A local Korean fusion eatery is gearing up to launch its second location.
While an exact address has not yet been disclosed, an announcement post within the ChewOnThis Facebook Group indicates that Coreanos will soon open at the corner of Route 9 and Temple Street in Framingham, next door to Framingham Shipping at 1257 Worcester Rd.
Founded in 2016 by Yongsik and Jina Kim, along with their son Alex, Coreanos is a true family affair. Yongsik, a seasoned chef, leads the kitchen. Notably, Alex also founded Glasser Coffee Company, a cozy coffeehouse nestled in Brighton’s Oak Square neighborhood.
At Coreanos’ new location, patrons can expect a diverse array of “KoMex” fare—a unique fusion of Korean and Mexican ingredients—alongside authentic Korean dishes.
Highlights from the menu include Kimchi Quesadillas, Korean Fried Chicken, various kimbap options, Kimchi Fried Rice, and tacos on double corn tortillas stuffed with marinated meats and spicy ginger slaw. The kimchi is house-fermented, and all sauces and ingredients are crafted in-house.
The Kims have not yet responded to inquiries from What Now Boston, but the Facebook post indicates that an opening date has not been established. Be sure to stay tuned for updates on the address and grand opening.
