Dutshy’s Caribbean Restaurant made a name for itself serving Haitian cuisine from a counter at the Boynton Beach Mall. But now the brand is preparing for a move. After closing its doors in Boynton Beach, Dutshy’s has submitted plans its new home, now in Lauderdale Lakes, at 2542 N State Road 7.

Dutshy’s has served a variety of Haitian dishes, along with breakfast, brunch, and soup.

What Now reached out this week to Dutshy himself, owner of the restaurant, to inquire about plans for an opening in Lauderdale Lakes. Dutshy confirmed news of the new location in Lauderdale Lakes (for the moment the restaurant’s Facebook page indicates only that a new location is “Coming Soon”) but declined to discuss the opening further at this time.

Opening in the FL-7 location, in the building on the southeast corner of the intersection with Northwest 26th Street, Dutshy’s Caribbean will join a food and beverage community that includes restaurants like Dutch Pot Restaurant and Hook Fish and Chicken.

Stay tuned for updates as more information becomes available on Dutshy’s Caribbean Restaurant’s new location opening in Lauderdale Lakes.
