Lark Cake Shop is moving its Pasadena location on N. Hill Ave. to Fair Oaks Ave., according to the bakery’s website.
“On May 5th, we will be leaving our location at 1355 N. Hill Ave. in Pasadena to our new location on Fair Oaks. We are super excited about our new location! BUT…our new location isn’t going to be fully built out until the fall of 2024. In between, you can order for pick-up in Silver Lake or order for delivery for Pasadena. We will keep you updated on our construction progress and can’t wait to share our new shop with you!” the website says.
After a career in television, John Hensley opened Lark Cake Shop in 2007 on Sunset Blvd. followed by its Pasadena outpost in 2015. The bakery was founded on the idea of creating cakes, cupcakes, cookies, pies and bars inspired by the bohemian aesthetic of Silver Lake. It takes pride in using fresh, locally sourced ingredients and uses Challenge Dairy Cooperative, a cooperative of more than 600 California dairies, as its dairy supplier.
“Family owned and operated, Lark Cake Shop is committed to serving the finest baked goods available and providing unmatched customer service. We look forward serving you!” the website continues.
An exact address for the new location is currently unknown.
