According to SF Eater, a new concept called The Wild is coming to SoMa.

Taking over the former Gozu spot at 201 Spear Street, Suite 120, the eatery will land near establishments such as Saint Frank Coffee, The University of San Francisco’s Downtown Campus, and Tin at 180 Spear Street.

The upcoming spot will feature “intentional and delicious food that echoes our commitment to returning to our roots and embracing the essence of nature,” a representative tells the Journal.

On the concept’s website, the Wild offers a brief introduction: “From Chefs Marc Zimmerman, Peggy Tan, and Mark Lieuw beginning in August, The Wild embarks on a journey that delves into a reconnection with the natural world, emphasizing a return to our roots and the simplicity of nature.”

“Both an a la carte menu and chef’s choice option will be available to diners when the Wild launches in August,” Eater shares. Stay tuned for updates.
