According to a recent permit application, Sacramento-based business Touchstone Brewing plans to debut a new outpost in Berkeley.

Coming to 1863 Solano Avenue, the brewery will land near establishments such as Ajanta, Cactus Taqueria, and Zachary’s Chicago Pizza.

What Now San Antonio reached out to the concept’s brewmaster, Ryan Campagna, to inquire about the expansion, but he could not provide additional information before publication.

For readers who are unfamiliar with the business, “Touchstone Brewing Company is a brewery, taproom, restaurant, and outdoor beer garden,” it shares on its website.

In addition to offering brews on tap, Touchstone sells to-go cans — and, to eat, salads, sandwiches, and Detroit-style pizza.

An opening date has not been announced yet, so stay tuned for updates.
