According to a recently submitted permit application, Desmond Tan of Burma, Inc. is expanding his Bay Area footprint, planning to debut a concept listed as Burma Bar in San Francisco.

Coming to 151 Warriors Way, Unit 6, the eatery will land near establishments such as the Chase Center and restaurants including Dumpling Time, Gott’s Roadside, and Miller & Lux.

What Now San Francisco reached out to Tan to inquire about the upcoming bar, but he could not provide additional information before publication.

For readers who are unfamiliar with the restaurateur, Tan is the owner of popular Bay Area businesses such as B Star Bar, Burma Club, Burma Love, and Burma Superstar — a well-known eatery “established in 1992” that “introduced the bold flavors of Burma (Myanmar) to the Bay Area and beyond,” according to its website.

An opening date has not been announced yet, so stay tuned for updates.
