Flori’s Restaurant, a new Latin American restaurant owned by Jerson Dolan, Andrea Suarez, and Floridalma Suarez will be coming to Russian Hill later this year.

The new restaurant promises to offer authentic Latin American fare from across the continent, as well as wine, beer, and signature cocktails. Flori’s is expected to be a casual hang-out that will bring San Franciscans together for quality food and an inviting atmosphere.

Co-owner Jerson Dolan was able to confirm with What Now San Francisco that the Flori’s team has secured the lease at 2360 Van Ness Avenue.

Occupying a handsome building on the corner of Van Ness and Green Street, the new space will replacing Bootleg Bar and Kitchen, which previously occupied the building before permanently closing. The new location features a substantial amount of space as well as large corner windows that will provide ample natural light

Jerson, who is a first-time restaurant owner, is bolstered by the support of his family, who have been working in the industry for decades. They have been dreaming about opening Flori’s for years, and the opportunity provided by the vacancy at 2360 Van Ness was exactly the opportunity they’ve been looking for.

While the final plans for Flori’s are still up in the air, the lease is secure. In the meantime, Jerson, Andrea, and Floridalma will be finalizing the menu and their design as they prepare for a grand opening in the late Fall of this year.
