Pomme Cider Shop is planned for 531 Broadway in the heart of downtown Sonoma. Rick Tranchina, who owns the shop alongside Jessica Olson-Ealy, confirms that they are waiting for their beer and wine license to clear in advance of a January 2022 debut.
Outfitted as a tap room and bottle shop, Pomme Cider Shop will feature both local ciders and imported ciders from Spain and France, as well as a selection of French rosés, champagnes, and more. Customers will be able to drop in for a glass of cider, or perhaps a flight if they’re feeling a bit indecisive.
To complement the refreshments, there will be a menu to nosh on featuring delicious eats such as sandwiches and charcuterie. The space at 531 Broadway has gone through several phases in the past, previously taken up by Taco The Town and Top That Yogurt.
It’s newest iteration as Pomme Cider Shop will certainly be a welcome addition to the scene in downtown Sonoma. The shop is in a prime location next to the Sonoma Valley Museum of Art and the nearby Sonoma Plaza.
Correction: The article has been updated to include Jessica Olson-Ealy as one of the owners.
