When it comes to college towns, you can never have too much coffee or places to study. That’s why our Berkeley-based readers might be excited to know that a new concept called Mind Coffee is in the works.

According to a zoning certificate business license currently under review with the city, Mind Coffee is planning to move into a 945 square-foot space at 1816 Euclid Ave. The address was formerly home to Hair Cut Connection and Jesse James Tattoo, which are noted on Google to have “temporarily closed” at the time of publication.

Mind Coffee owner Viviana Wang has confirmed with What Now San Francisco that she is planning this new business in Berkeley, adding that they are in the very early stages of development. Even their online presence is still in the process of being built.

Wang was unable to give any further comment or disclose any more details when contacted. What we do know for now is that Mind Coffee will be a cafe serving specialty coffee. Stay tuned for more information.
