A new restaurant and bar called Blue Whale Restaurant & Lounge recently applied for a Type 47 ABC license with the state. The concept will be at 2033 Union St. in Cow Hollow, taking over the space that was formerly Osha Thai Restaurant & Bar.
Owner Ming Lei tells What Now San Francisco that Blue Whale Restaurant & Lounge will be an Asian-fusion restaurant with a full bar. They are currently under construction and are projected to open in July. Because they are still in their early stages, this was all Lei could divulge at the moment.
We’ve scooped this news so early in the planning process, that Blue Whale’s website and social media accounts are still in the works. Surely, more information is to come as the new restaurant is further along in its development. For now, keep an eye on this address to check on its progress.
