A new to-go pizza shop is coming soon to the southern side of Oakland. A planning application circulating through city public records reveals that the business will set up shop at 9824 International Blvd.

Owner Ghassan Ibrahim has confirmed these plans with What Now San Francisco, adding that they are currently working with the city and waiting for permit approvals in anticipation of a full buildout. If everything is approved and goes according to plan, they hope to open this spring.

Until then, there are plenty of other aspects beyond the buildout that are still in the works. Ibrahim noted that they still have not finalized a name for the new restaurant, saying that the initial title they came up with would be in conflict with an existing restaurant in San Francisco.

As he is opening the pizza shop with his brothers, he’s offered “Pizza Bro” as a possibility. We’re sure that once they finalize their business name, a website and social media pages are to follow. We will post an update on the restaurant’s progress as new information is obtained. Until then, keep an eye on this spot along International to see how things move along.
