South Bay residents hankering for some South American cuisine ought to be excited for Inka Restaurant! The establishment recently applied for a beer and wine license at 700 S. Winchester Boulevard off I-280. It will take over the former Isabella’s Restaurant space.

Customers who frequented Isabella’s might be pleased to know that they can still come to this establishment for Latin American fare. Owner Sergio Robles tells What Now San Francisco that Inka Restaurant will serve Peruvian cuisine.

At the moment, he is waiting on permitting and licensing to get approved with the city over the next couple weeks. He hopes to open sometime in April. In the meantime, he is busy making all the necessary preparations for his new restaurant, including setting up a website and social media accounts.

That said, a menu has not yet been finalized but Robles is sure to have more information as he gets closer to Inka Restaurant’s debut. Stay tuned for more information if and when it is acquired. Maybe keep an eye on this address as well, to see how things shape up over the next several weeks.
