Banh Mi Zon has come a long way since debuting as a food truck in 2015. The local, family-owned and operated business has a new location in the works at 256 Shoreline Highway in Mill Valley. Co-founder Luan Nguyen told What Now San Francisco this week that the plan is to open there in late spring to early summer

Plans for this new Banh Mi Zon location have been a couple years in the making. Despite delays caused by the pandemic, the restaurant is now currently poised to move forward with their expansion throughout the Bay Area.

Nguyen says that this upcoming Mill Valley outpost will be a special one because it’ll be the first where they freshly bake their baguettes on-site daily. While most of their business will likely continue to thrive on to-go orders, Nguyen added that this location will have space for dine-in and a newly built outdoor patio to enjoy your food al fresco.

Still, you can expect the same delicious menu, including their Traditional Banh Mi and their best-selling BBQ Pork or Beef Bulgogi, which can be ordered in a Banh Mi, or served atop Green Salad, Vermicelli noodles, or rice.
